Outdoor Education Camps
Exploring Our Backyard
How lucky are our Navigator College student to live on the Eyre Peninsula! We have access to some amazing places, including our national parks. The study of Outdoor Education provides students with opportunities to experience personal growth and to develop social skills, self-confidence, initiative, self-reliance, leadership, and collaborative skills.
The development of their relationship with natural environments impacts positively on students’ health and wellbeing and fosters a lifelong connection with nature and a commitment to take action to care for our natural environments.
"My favourite part of the Port Lincoln National Park Outdoor Ed camp was developing a personal connection with the natural environment and being a part of something bigger than myself! This experience has taught me to value, respect and appreciate the opportunity to disconnect from reality and absorb what the environment has to offer." - Current Year 12 Student.
